A unique new graduate program in gene regulation research has been established through the Molecular Biology Interdepartmental Ph.D. Program at UCLA. This program consists of a specialized gene regulation curriculum and several regular activities to promote interactions between students and faculty. Activities include a weekly journal club, monthly joint group meeting, and a "Leaders in the Field" seminar series, all closely linked to the Gene Regulation Program Area of UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center
